The Integration Specialist is responsible for setting up and maintaining EDI relationships with our customers and their suppliers. The EDI Specialist has responsibility for establishing the communication path as well as mapping the data for each
EDI partner. The Integration Specialist is also responsible for quickly troubleshooting and resolving issues that arise in EDI communication and transaction processing.
Essential Duties
- Review & interpret specifications for our EDI partners
- Set up new EDI trading partner relationships.
- Create and maintain EDI maps
- Work with technical staff to assure mapping compliance
- Coordinate EDI testing with internal staff and EDI partner
- Schedule, process and monitor all inbound and outbound documents
- Research EDI operational and data-related issues, work with internal staff and EDI partner for resolution.
- Work with IT staff to identify, design, and implement improvements related to EDI.
- Document processes and procedures
Minimum Qualifications
- 2+ years of EDI experience preferred
- Familiarity with all major transaction sets, including 210, 810, 820, 832, 846, 850, 852, 855, 856, 860, 864 and 997, etc.
- Ability to read and interpret EDI mapping specifications
- Transactional experience with diverse companies
- Knowledge of AS2, VAN, and FTP communications
- Knowledge of EDI standards
- Strong analytical & problem solving skills
