Paris, France – June 3, 2021Corcentric, a leading provider of business spend management and revenue management software and services, announces today that Mr. Bricolage, a leading specialist in DIY retail in France, has implemented Corcentric’s modular SaaS Procurement Solution.

Over the past four years, the Mr. Bricolage Group has been growing to become a leader in the home and garden DIY space, and is targeting to have 1000 retail outlets by 2028. To enable this growth, Mr. Bricolage Group has digitized its procure-to-pay processes to better support the development and performance of its network of stores by implementing the Corcentric Procurement Solution.

Corcentric’s modular Procurement Solution stood out for its ability to meet the complete range of needs across the Purchasing, Accounting and Operational Departments at the Mr. Bricolage Group. Initially deployed in December 2020 to 110 users, the Corcentric Platform empowers buyers at Mr. Bricolage headquarters to:

  • Automate approval processes
  • Improve compliance of budget commitments
  • Gain visibility and reliability of orders and audit trails
  • Facilitate exchanges with off-site operational staff
  • Centralize budget monitoring
  • Automate the calculation of monthly provisions

“We were looking for a tool that both saves us time and allows us to guarantee the reliability of purchasing data. Implementing the Corcentric solution and a new purchasing process required training users on the tool and gain autonomy in monitoring their orders.”

In addition to enhanced purchase-to-pay functionality, Corcentric Procurement will enable Mr. Bricolage to implement electronic invoicing (e-Invoicing) to be in compliance with the 2020 European Union finance law. This requires electronic invoicing for B2B transactions as of 2023.

“The Corcentric Procurement Solution has changed the way we work. The Accounting Department is now focusing on missions with higher added value. Time-consuming tasks such as manually clocking purchase orders have been eliminated. We are improving overall efficiency in the Purchasing, Finance and Accounting processes. This digitization project has also enhanced the work of the accounting teams by providing a concrete response to the challenges imposed by the particular current context.”

Ultimately, nearly 25,000 invoices will be processed each year in the Corcentric Platform.
