Cherry Hill, NJ, March 31, 2020 — Some 300 executives from North America and Europe convened at the Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes in Florida for the two-day 2020 Corcentric Symposium in March. The theme of the annual Symposium was “Leading Change” and attendees had an opportunity to network with other business leaders and learn from a variety of speakers how to transform their lives and businesses from good to great with perseverance, transformational strategies, and innovative technology.

Doug Clark, Corcentric Founder, Chairman, and CEO, and Matt Clark, President and COO, opened the Symposium by inviting attendees to be the change they wanted to see made in the world today. “Leading change is all about transformative experiences that set a larger transformation in motion,” said Doug Clark. “Leaders know that real change starts with them.”

A variety of speakers from the business, medical, financial, motivational, and sports worlds shared their advice and lessons learned.

Jim Collins Corcentric Symposium 2020

The keynote speaker at the 2020 Corcentric Symposium was Jim Collins, best-selling author or co-author of Good to Great, Built to Last, How the Mighty Fall, and Turning the Flywheel. He shared his findings on why some companies build and sustain momentum in a world beset by turbulence, uncertainty, chaos, and disruptive change while others falter and fail.

They included keynote speaker Jim Collins, a student and teacher of what makes great companies tick, advisor to leaders in the business and social sectors, and best-selling author or co-author of Good to Great, Built to Last, How the Mighty Fall, and Turning the Flywheel. He shared his findings on why some companies build and sustain momentum in a world beset by turbulence, uncertainty, chaos and, disruptive change while others falter and fail.

Cybersecurity expert John Sileo used his harrowing personal story of identity theft to address the number one issue that keeps executives up at night, showing them how to motivate and educate teams in charge of mission-critical information.

Dr. Daniel Kraft, medical doctor, scientist, and entrepreneur discussed “How to be the COO of your own health in the Digital Age,” illustrating how healthcare dollars in the near future will shift from a sickcare paradigm to one of wellcare.

Tech entrepreneur and investor Josh Linker spoke about “Harnessing Innovation: Turning raw ideas into powerful results,” sharing practical tools with immediate applications that can be used to increase creative output and deliver bottom-line results.

Verne Harnish, Founder and CEO of Scaling Up, a global education and coaching company, presented “Scale the business – Enjoy the climb,” growth strategies for achieving “freedom,” no matter how big and complicated a business becomes.

Tech start-up founder turned futurist Sterling Hawkins used his segment, “Innovation: The Human Element,” to show how to achieve breakthrough performance amidst unprecedented change by focusing on people.

The two day session closed with an inspiring interview with Super Bowl Championship Quarterback Nick Foles who spoke about “Beating the Odds,” a conversation about the importance of family and relationships, overcoming adversity, exceeding expectations, inspiring fans and teammates, and the responsibilities that come with success.

The 2021 Corcentric Symposium will take place February 24-26 at the Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes in Florida.
